THE JAPA MALA | an artegia collection
Our Japa Malas are not only aesthetic jewellery pieces, by origin, they are a string of beads used for prayer and meditation. You do not have to be religious to wear them. You can simply wear them because you may find them beautiful or if your intentions are set for peace and enlightment.
Japa Malas can be hand-knotted per bead and can count up to 108 beads. They usually include a tassel with a Guru bead, but Japa Malas are found in different forms, lengths, materials and colors. For example, the type of gemstone can support you in the intentions you have set for peace and enlightment.
All our Japa Malas jewellery are made by hand and blessed by a Hindu Priest in Bali, Indonesia.
