The statue, Loro Blonyo, is a symbol of the God and Goddess of fertility in the Javanese culture: Dewi Sri and Sadono. Loro Blonyo literally means “two become one” in Javanese, as it is symbolizes unity between the man and the woman. Therefore, Loro Blonyo statues bring good luck and prosperity in homes.
