RAJA AMPAT

June 21, 2018

Raja Ampat, a 1500-island group in West Papua, Indonesia known for its white beaches, marine life & coral reefs and jungle top karst hills. It was actually on my list for our honeymoon, but we ended up going to the Maldives ;). However, on our last sabbatical we finally took the time to visit the legendary Raja Ampat. I was so excited that we would go to this hidden paradise with our two close friends Nicole and Ben, which made our experience even better. Be aware, if you are planning to go here, this is no white-beach-cocktails-and-luxury-hotel type of destination, but straight up adventure!

Hopefully you enjoyed reading my blog on West Papua! I would like to emphasize that I did not take all these pictures alone, credits also go to Jon Tarifa, Nicole Tien and Ben Hutchinson. I can say, that from all destinations I have traveled, this place has a special place in my heart as it literally took my breath away. Special thanks to my people, my crew as this trip would not be the same without you ;).

If you need any tips on going there, just shoot me a DM on instagram @kimtarifa  and I will be happy to help!
